Join our training sessions and give your dog the skills they need. From puppy socialisation to advanced obedience and behaviour workshops, every session is led by certified NePoPo® Gold Instructor Andy at Dog Trainers Wirral.
Dog Trainers Wirral run a range of training sessions across the Wirral peninsula. Whether you are looking for structured group sessions for your puppy or focused private sessions for a dog with specific needs, we have a session to suit you.
All our sessions are built around positive reinforcement and science-backed methods. Andy is a certified NePoPo® Gold Instructor who has delivered over 1,000 training sessions across Wirral. Sessions take place at our base in Birkenhead, in outdoor locations across the peninsula, or in your own home for private sessions.
We believe every dog learns differently. That is why we offer multiple session formats — so you can choose the structure that works best for your dog's temperament, age and learning style.

Learn MoreEvery class begins with a free phone consultation. Andy will ask about your dog's age, breed, temperament and the specific challenges you are facing. Based on this, he will recommend the right class format — whether that is a group class, a private session or a structured programme.
Group classes run in small sizes to ensure each dog gets individual attention. Private 1-to-1 classes are scheduled at times that suit you and can take place at home or outdoors. All classes follow a progressive structure so your dog builds skills week by week.
Andy focuses on training the owner as much as the dog. You will leave every class with clear, practical techniques you can practise between sessions. Consistency is what drives lasting results.
Our sessions run across the Wirral peninsula. Group sessions are held at our Birkenhead base and at outdoor venues. Private sessions can take place at your home or at a location of your choice in any of the following areas:
We run group puppy classes, adult dog obedience classes, private 1-to-1 training sessions, reactive dog workshops and behaviour modification programmes. All classes use positive reinforcement and are led by certified NePoPo® Gold Instructor Andy.
Group puppy classes start from £15 per session. Private 1-to-1 training sessions range from £50 to £80. Behaviour modification programmes are priced based on your dog's individual needs. Contact us for a free consultation.
Puppies can start group socialisation classes from 8 weeks old, once they have had their first vaccination. There is no upper age limit. We regularly work with adult and senior dogs in both group and private class settings.
We offer both. Group classes are ideal for puppy socialisation and basic obedience. Private 1-to-1 classes are better suited to dogs with specific behaviour issues, reactivity or individual training goals. Andy will recommend the best format during your free consultation.
